A private talk on AI, futures, and responsibility with one of SXSW’s most anticipated speakers — live from the new Experience Club US HQ in Miami.
Miami has emerged as one of the most dynamic tech and innovation hubs in the Americas, attracting startups, global companies, and venture capital alike. The city now ranks among the top 30 startup ecosystems worldwide, according to Startup Genome and Startup Blink, and is widely seen as a “rising star” in the global innovation landscape.
Miami Tech Week reflects this momentum, bringing together leaders from tech, business, and finance through a decentralized series of events, panels, and meetups across the city.
For the third year in a row, Experience Club US joined the movement as an active supporter, hosting a private talk that blended foresight, strategy, and connection. On April 10, the club welcomed Ian Beacraft — one of today’s most respected voices on futurism and AI — for an intimate session with 60 invited guests at its new headquarters in The Moore Building, in the Miami Design District.
The setting was ideal: a full house, carefully curated atmosphere, and a conversation that hit the right balance between insight and provocation. Beacraft, who recently packed the largest stage at SXSW 2024 with over 2,700 attendees, brought to this smaller audience a powerful and personalized take on the future of artificial intelligence and the role we all play in shaping it.
“The future is us, tomorrow. It’s the decisions we make today that create the future we want to see. And it’s up to us,” he said, emphasizing the connection between present actions and long-term impact.
He also acknowledged the emotional weight that often comes with rapid change:
“So if you’re feeling anxious about where this future might go, or if you’re excited about it, that means it’s something we need to think about collectively. We’re all in this together, because we’re all going to live in it.”
The discussion resonated strongly with the audience, which included several first-time participants. The combination of fresh perspectives, thoughtful conversation, and a welcoming space reinforced Experience Club US’s role as a connector of people and ideas within Miami’s growing innovation scene.
The event was made possible with the support of Banco do Brasil, a partner committed to fostering conversations that matter for the future of business, technology, and society.
